The Power of We: Reflecting on the CISCM Seasoned Man of the Year Award
Every time I win an award, like the “Seasoned Man of the Year” award from the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (CISCM), I’m instantly reminded that I didn’t win it all by myself.
Even though my name may be the one called, and my hands may be the ones holding the award plaque, the true winners are all the incredible employees who work day-in and day-out to make our subsidiaries some of the best on the continent.
Truly, this recognition has everything to do with the talented, supportive, creative and intensely passionate work family I’ve surrounded myself with over the years. Together, we have made decisions, taken risks, and taken on challenges that have us successful. I would never have been able to make it here if I didn’t have these wonderful hands helping me!
